Our History
The Beginning
Potaday was founded in early 2025 by Lega Problema and Abas Baskara, both active members of the Islamic outreach organization KOMHIS. Their entrepreneurial journey began with supplying raw honey and purple sweet potatoes to several export-oriented companies.
Challenges That Shaped Us
In its early phase, the venture faced significant challenges. Quality inconsistencies caused by unreliable middlemen led to unmet export standards, resulting in business setbacks. Rather than giving up, these challenges became a turning point—driving the founders to rethink, rebuild, and refine their business model.
Strategic Growth and Investment
Determined to move forward, Lega and Abas partnered with two investors, Aan Sufyan and Dadi Maskar. Together, they strengthened quality control, supply chain management, and long-term business strategy.
The Birth of the Potaday Brand
By the end of 2025, this transformation led to the official launch of Potaday—a brand fully dedicated to healthy food solutions. The focus shifted from raw commodities to value-added products: nutritious rice substitutes and complementary healthy beverages designed for modern lifestyles.
